AI in Healthcare 2.0 Conference Inaugurated at Yashoda Hospitals in Hitec City

The two-day international conference "AI in Healthcare 2.0" was officially inaugurated at Yashoda Hospitals in Hitec City, Hyderabad, on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Recognized as India's largest healthcare summit dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, the event has brought together more than 2,000 global experts to discuss the rapidly evolving role of technology in medicine.
The summit is being held under the theme "Powering Precision & Personalising Care." It has drawn a diverse group of participants, including doctors, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and AI experts from across the world. Over the course of two days, these delegates are deliberating on how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to transform healthcare delivery globally.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the conference. The inaugural ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr G S Rao, the Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, and Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli, the Organising Chairperson of the conference and Clinical Director at Yashoda Hospitals.
Addressing the gathered delegates, Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized the growing importance of technology in the medical field. He stated that artificial intelligence is emerging as a key driver of innovation across multiple sectors. He further noted that AI is set to significantly transform healthcare by improving diagnostics, enhancing treatment planning, and elevating overall patient care.
The conference serves as a platform for global collaboration, focusing on AI-driven innovations, healthcare solutions, and future opportunities within the medical sector. The event features active participation from experts representing leading medical institutions and technology organizations from both India and abroad.
The summit will continue on Sunday. The scheduled itinerary for the second day includes a series of technical sessions, panel discussions, and innovation showcases, all focused on advancing AI-enabled healthcare practices.
