The upcoming Telugu film 'Lenin', starring actor Akhil Akkineni, is reportedly facing another delay and is highly likely to miss its scheduled June 26 theatrical release date.

The movie, which marks Akhil Akkineni's return to the big screen after a long gap, has already been postponed multiple times. According to industry reports, crucial pending work remains incomplete, making it difficult for the makers to release the film by the end of June.

Initially, 'Lenin' was expected to hit theatres in May. However, the makers announced a postponement due to the film 'Peddi'. After 'Peddi' itself faced delays, the production team rescheduled the release of 'Lenin' for June 26.

To assure fans, veteran actor Nagarjuna had personally announced the June 26 date, urging audiences to mark their calendars. Despite this high-profile announcement, fresh reports suggest that the film will not be ready in time for the scheduled date.

In light of the ongoing work, the makers are reportedly considering July 10 as the new release date for the theatrical launch. However, an official announcement regarding this postponement and the new date is still awaited from the production houses.

The film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, while Murali Kishore is directing the project. 'Lenin' is being produced by Manam Entertainments in association with Sithara Entertainments, and is presented by Annapurna Studios. The music for the film is composed by Thaman.
