The Bhimavaram Bulls secured a dominant 103-run victory over the Simhadri Vizag Lions in the Andhra Premier League T20 cricket championship on Saturday, 13 June 2026. The high-scoring match was played at the ACA-VDCA International Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Powered by blistering half-centuries from B. Sathwik and Revanth Reddy, the Bulls posted a massive total of 218 runs. They then put on a strong defensive performance to bundle out the Simhadri Vizag Lions for a mere 115 runs.

Choosing to bat first, the Bhimavaram Bulls set a formidable target. The team scored 218 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their designated 20 overs.

B. Sathwik and Revanth Reddy were the stars of the first innings, setting up the massive victory with their aggressive batting. Sathwik played a rapid innings, scoring 63 runs off just 29 deliveries. His knock was highlighted by eight sixes.

Revanth Reddy also delivered a crucial performance, contributing 58 runs off 34 balls. Reddy's innings included seven boundaries and two sixes, keeping the pressure on the opposition bowlers throughout his time at the crease.

Faced with a daunting target of 219 runs to win, the Simhadri Vizag Lions failed to establish any momentum in their chase. The team was eventually bowled out for 115 runs in 17.5 overs, falling well short of the target.

Only Maheep Kumar managed to play with authority for the Vizag Lions. Kumar top-scored for his side with 36 runs off 24 balls, hitting four boundaries and one six. However, his efforts were not enough to save the team from a heavy defeat.

The rest of the Simhadri Vizag Lions' batting order collapsed under pressure, resulting in the team's third consecutive defeat in this edition of the Andhra Premier League.
