Daisy Shah Slams Election Campaigners After Fire Breaks Out Near Her Bandra East Flat

A fire broke out in a house in the Bandra East area of Mumbai during an election campaign, prompting actress Daisy Shah to publicly condemn election campaigners for a lack of civic sense. The fire occurred at night near Shah's residential apartment, leading her to raise serious safety concerns about the behavior of the campaign teams.
The incident took place while Shah was walking her dogs near her residence. Following the outbreak of the fire, the actress shared a video of the scene on her Instagram account to criticize the recklessness of those involved in the campaigning activities.
Shah expressed her frustration online, specifically pointing out that the fire was caused by campaigners bursting crackers in close proximity to residential buildings. She urged political entities to ensure that the teams they hire to run election campaigns exercise basic common sense and take accountability for their actions.
In her public statement, Shah said: "I have got nothing to do with any political party!!! But when u hire teams to run campaigns for your elections please make sure they have some common sense in them. Thank fully our building committee refused their entry to go door to door. Bursting crackers next to the buildings is not the way to go about it. This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It ain’t a natural calamity it’s caused by brainless people. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY … ITS HIGH TIME."
She further revealed that her building’s committee had previously taken the decision to deny the campaigners permission to go door-to-door. Shah commended this move, stating that the subsequent fire vindicated the committee's refusal.
Condemning the use of fireworks near homes, the actress described the behavior as a dangerous example of carelessness that threatened the safety of local residents.
