Daisy Shah Slams Election Campaigners After Fire Breaks Out Near Her Bandra East Flat

A fire broke out in a house in the Bandra East area of Mumbai during an election campaign, prompting actor Daisy Shah to strongly criticize political campaigners for their lack of civic responsibility. The incident occurred at night while the actor was walking her dogs near her residence.
Following the incident, Shah took to social media to express her outrage and draw attention to the safety hazards posed by the campaigners. She shared a video of the fire on her Instagram account, directly blaming the campaign teams' reckless behavior for the hazard.
According to Shah, the fire was caused by the bursting of firecrackers in close proximity to residential buildings. She expressed relief that her building's committee had previously refused to allow the campaigners entry to conduct door-to-door campaigning.
In her social media post, Shah clarified her political neutrality before demanding accountability from those running the campaigns. "I have got nothing to do with any political party!!! But when u hire teams to run campaigns for your elections please make sure they have some common sense in them," she wrote.
Shah praised her building committee's decision to deny entry to the campaigners, noting that it was a justified move. She strongly condemned the practice of setting off fireworks in residential zones, describing it as a dangerous and careless act that put residents' lives at risk.
"Bursting crackers next to the buildings is not the way to go about it," Shah added in her public statement. "This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It ain’t a natural calamity it’s caused by brainless people. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY … ITS HIGH TIME."
