Dr P Raghu Ram Secures Guinness World Record For Holographic Health Lecture In Hyderabad

Dr P Raghu Ram, the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, and the KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for Breast Diseases in Hyderabad secured a Guinness World Records title on Thursday. The record was officially awarded for hosting the "Largest Audience at an Interactive AI-Enabled Holographic Health Awareness Lecture" at the centre.
The record-breaking event featured an AI-generated holographic educator of Dr Raghu Ram. This digital hologram delivered a detailed 30-minute lecture focused on breast health awareness. Following the presentation, the holographic educator engaged with the audience during a 30-minute multilingual interactive question-and-answer session.
This achievement marks the third Guinness World Records title secured by Dr Raghu Ram within a span of 15 months. The global record-keeping authority created and awarded the title under a newly established category designed specifically to recognise innovation in AI-enabled holographic health education.
In addition to securing the world record, the landmark event served as the platform for the launch of a new national initiative. Named NARI, which stands for the National Awareness & Resource Initiative for Breast Health, the campaign is designed to promote breast health awareness on a wider scale.
The event in Hyderabad was attended by several prominent dignitaries from the medical and administrative sectors. Among those present to witness the record-breaking lecture was Dr Abhijat Sheth, the Chairman of the National Medical Commission.
Also in attendance was Dr Bhaskar Rao, the Chairman of the KIMS Group of Hospitals, alongside K Padmanabhaiah, who serves as the Chairman of the Court of Governors at the Administrative Staff College of India.
The gathering also welcomed Dr Ananda Shankar Jayant and Dr C Mallikarjuna, the Vice President of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, who observed the innovative holographic presentation.
