Fire Breaks Out in AC Unit on Sixth Floor of Juhu Residential Building

A fire broke out in an air-conditioning unit on the sixth floor of an 11-storey residential building in the Juhu area of Mumbai on Thursday morning, June 11, 2026. The incident was reported to emergency services at approximately 7:43 AM, prompting a rapid response from multiple local agencies. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
The blaze occurred at the Manisha Building, which is located near the Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu. According to a civic official, the fire was confined entirely to the air-conditioning unit situated on the sixth floor of the high-rise residential structure.
Following the initial report, emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the location. At least four fire engines, along with other specialized firefighting vehicles, were rushed to the spot to launch firefighting operations and bring the situation under control.
The emergency mobilization involved several local agencies working in coordination. In addition to the fire department, personnel from the local police, the municipal ward office, and ambulance services arrived at the scene. Workers from a private electricity company were also mobilized to assist with safety protocols during the operation.
Officials confirmed that firefighting efforts were underway shortly after the teams arrived at the Manisha Building. There were no reports of any injuries or casualties among the residents or the responding emergency personnel.
