A fire broke out in an open yard near the Vasantha Chemicals manufacturing unit in Jeedimetla on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. The incident triggered widespread panic among factory workers and local residents as thick plumes of smoke rose into the sky.

According to the available information, the blaze erupted in a vacant area of the open yard. This specific location was being used to store old reactors belonging to Vasantha Chemicals. The fire quickly intensified, sending dense smoke and visible flames into the air, which immediately alerted people in the vicinity.

The sudden appearance of the dense smoke and rising flames caused immediate panic among the employees working inside the chemical factory premises. Fearing for their safety as the smoke spread, several workers rushed out of the factory buildings and evacuated the premises to reach safety.
