French Trio Alright Mela to Perform Live at The Moonshine Project EXT in Hyderabad

French musical trio Alright Mela is scheduled to perform live at The Moonshine Project/ EXT in Hyderabad on June 21, 2026. The performance is being organized as part of the Fête de la Musique 2026 celebrations and the wider Month of Music events taking place this June.
The group, which consists of Markus, Cheb Xavi, and Moroccan Gnawa artist Jaouad El Garouge, is embarking on a tour across India. Their live show in Hyderabad is built around the core elements of rhythm, trance, movement, and collective energy.
Alright Mela’s unique sound is characterized by a blend of Mediterranean influences, Gnawa traditions, the oud, electronic beats, and psychedelic synth textures. This combination allows the trio to create a musical style that is both historically rooted and contemporary.
In addition to their distinctive sound, the trio's music carries a strong message, reflecting the urgency of the world around us. Their songs explore sensitive and critical themes such as migration, discrimination, war, identity, tolerance, and the possibility of living together.
The upcoming performance at The Moonshine Project/ EXT is designed to be more than just a celebration. The band aims to invite the Hyderabad audience into a shared space where groove, resistance, and reflection meet, creating a live experience that is hypnotic, socially conscious, and deeply physical.
