The upcoming Bollywood film Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past is officially scheduled for release on June 12, 2026. The movie's plot begins in Mumbai, where a devastated filmmaker abruptly departs the city after a personal betrayal, setting off a chain of supernatural events at a remote hill station.

The film stars Mimoh Chakraborty as Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, a reputed filmmaker. In the movie, Dev is on the verge of releasing his latest film, Laila Majnu, and is in love with the project's lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna.

However, days before the scheduled release of Laila Majnu, Dev catches Sonali with the film's male lead. Heartbroken by the discovery, Dev decides to leave Mumbai without informing anyone. He is accompanied on his sudden departure by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai.

The duo travels until they reach a quiet hill station named Maniktal. Seeking peace and solace, Dev decides to settle there and begins searching for a place to rent. A local broker shows him photographs of a property known as the Maniktal Palace. Dev likes the estate and signs on as a tenant.

Upon moving into the palace, Dev and Titu immediately notice that something is wrong with the property. While all the doors and windows of the left wing are wide open, those of the right wing are completely shut. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, informs them that the right wing has been locked for decades and that the keys to the section have long been missing.

The mystery deepens on their very first night at the palace. Dev is awakened by an eerie noise and steps out of his room to find that the doors to the forbidden right wing are now wide open.

Upon entering the locked section, Dev encounters an evil spirit and a young woman named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Dev witnesses the spirit harming Sunheri and is left confused as to how the doors opened and how she is living in a section of the palace that has been shut for over a century. He soon realizes that Sunheri belongs to an entirely different era.
