Healthcare Leaders Discuss Innovation and Patient Care at Sixth Hyderabad Summit

Thought leaders, healthcare professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders from various parts of India participated in the sixth edition of the two-day Healthcare Summit, held recently in Hyderabad.
The conference focused on creating meaningful value for patients, providers, and society by encouraging new thinking across healthcare delivery, innovation, prevention, and outcomes, according to a press release.
The theme of this year’s summit was built around three major issues: ‘CODE – Innovate with Intelligence’, ‘CARE – Deliver with Compassion’ and ‘CURE – Create Impact with Outcomes’. The event aimed to address critical issues in the future of healthcare, focusing on prevention strategies and patient-centric solutions.
Several featured talks by prominent industry figures highlighted key challenges and models in the Indian healthcare system. Dr Radhakrishna Rao Sagi, the CEO of Renova Hospitals, delivered a talk titled ‘The Hyderabad Healthcare Model – Designing a City That Creates Health, Not Just Treats Disease’.
Another session, titled ‘Is Healthcare a Fire Brigade… or a Smoke Detector?’, was presented by the FOXO team under the leadership of Subhendu Panigrahi.
Additionally, Dr Prashant Garg of LVPEI delivered a talk titled ‘Indian Healthcare – Delivery Problem or Design Failure? Rethinking Systems, Not Just Solutions’. The discussions collectively emphasized the need to rethink existing healthcare systems and design better solutions for the future.
