Hyderabad: A 22-year-old man from Chanchalguda has been apprehended by the Saidabad police for allegedly using a fake number plate on his unregistered scooter. The accused, identified as Syed Hussain Mehdi, reportedly employed this tactic to evade traffic fines.

According to police reports, Mehdi was stopped during a routine traffic check. Officers noticed discrepancies regarding the vehicle's registration and initiated an investigation. Upon further scrutiny, they discovered that the number plate affixed to the scooter was counterfeit.
