Hyderabad Women Secure Top Ranks in TG ICET 2026 Exam Results

On Friday, June 12, 2026, female candidates dominated the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2026 results announced in Hyderabad, securing the top two ranks and achieving a higher qualifying percentage than male candidates. Anugu Aishwarya Reddy of Hyderabad emerged as the exam topper, scoring 165.68 marks.

Koppoal Likhita, also from Hyderabad, bagged the second rank with a score of 157.38. The third rank was secured by Sree Charan Reddy Manne, who is also from Hyderabad.

The results were officially declared by the Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman, Prof. V Balakista Reddy, alongside Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Khaja Althaj Hussain, and TG ICET 2026 Convener, Prof. A Ravi. The official results have been made available on the state's common entrance website.

According to the official data, a total of 51,146 candidates appeared for the entrance examination, with 91.22 per cent of them qualifying for admissions. Female candidates outperformed male candidates in both volume and pass percentage. A total of 27,793 women qualified, recording a success rate of 91.62 per cent. In comparison, 23,353 men qualified, registering a pass rate of 90.74 per cent.

In addition to the results, Prof. Balakista Reddy provided details regarding professional college admissions in the state. During the previous 2025-26 academic year, 35,141 out of 40,601 MBA seats across 287 colleges were filled. For MCA courses, 5,420 seats out of the 9,360 available in 80 colleges were filled.

The Chairman added that the seat approval process for the upcoming academic year is currently pending with regulatory bodies. However, the total number of available seats in the state is expected to remain the same as the previous year.
