KEM Hospital To Take Action Against Dr Sejal Pawar Over Stand-Up Comedy Remarks

King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital in Mumbai has decided to take action against MBBS student Dr. Sejal Pawar following an investigation into derogatory remarks made about male cadavers.
The decision comes after an internal committee completed its inquiry into comments made during a stand-up comedy show. The controversy, which centered around remarks regarding a male corpse's private parts, led the hospital administration to establish the internal committee to investigate the matter. Based on the findings of this committee, KEM Hospital authorities confirmed they would proceed with disciplinary action against Pawar.
In addition to the hospital's internal probe, a case has been filed against Dr. Sejal Pawar, Pranit More, and Himanshu Jangra. The case was registered in response to the derogatory remarks made during the stand-up comedy show.
The hospital administration has not specified the exact nature of the disciplinary action that Pawar will face.
