Khalsa clinched the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) B-Division T20 league-cum-knockout championship title after securing a dominant nine-wicket victory over Nizamabad in the final match in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Batting first, Nizamabad struggled to build a massive total against a disciplined bowling performance from Khalsa. Nizamabad was restricted to a score of 167 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Srikar Reddy Yedla was the standout performer for the Nizamabad team, playing a fighting knock of 75 runs to top-score for his side. However, the rest of the batting lineup found it difficult to establish partnerships.

For Khalsa, bowler S. Ritvik delivered a match-winning performance. Ritvik ran through the opposition's batting order, taking four wickets while conceding only 22 runs in his spell. His efforts kept Nizamabad's run rate in check and set up a manageable chase for his team.

In reply, Khalsa made quick work of the 168-run target. They cruised to victory in the 19th over, finishing their innings at 170 runs for the loss of just one wicket in 18.4 overs.

The chase was anchored by two outstanding individual performances. Manikanteshwar Reddy played a brilliant innings, scoring 81 runs to put Khalsa in a commanding position. M. Hansin Reddy provided excellent support at the other end, remaining unbeaten on 69 runs to guide his side across the finish line.

With nine wickets in hand and eight balls remaining, Khalsa comfortably wrapped up the chase to claim the HCA B-Division T20 league-cum-knockout tournament trophy.
