Knox Jolie-Pitt Drops Surname Pitt From High School Diploma

Knox Jolie-Pitt, the youngest son of the former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has graduated from high school under the name 'Knox Jolie' after dropping his father's surname from his diploma.
The graduation ceremony took place earlier this month at Fusion Academy, which is located in Los Angeles. Knox officially received his high school diploma at the graduation event, and viral videos from the ceremony subsequently tagged the star-kid as 'Knox Jolie'. Knox, who turned 18 on July 12, is the latest of the former couple's six children to distance himself from the 'Pitt' surname.
According to reports from Page Six, this update to the star-kid's name comes just days after his sister, Zahara, filed paperwork requesting that her name be changed from Zahara Jolie-Pitt to 'Zahara Jolie'.
The trend of dropping the 'Pitt' surname has been observed among all of Knox's siblings amid the ongoing family divide. Last month, his older brother, Maddox, also reportedly filed legal court documents seeking to drop 'Pitt' from his last name, citing 'personal reasons'. Prior to filing these legal documents, Maddox had already been going by the name 'Maddox Jolie' professionally for a long time before taking the legal route.
Another brother, Pax, also reportedly goes just by the surname 'Jolie' in his professional life. Meanwhile, their sister Vivienne was also featured as 'Vivienne Jolie' in the credits of her Broadway production.
Additionally, their sister Shiloh made waves in 2024 when she successfully petitioned a Los Angeles court to legally remove 'Pitt' from her name.
With Knox's recent graduation name choice, the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have now taken steps to drop their father's surname, highlighting the ongoing family divide and tensions between the former Hollywood couple.
