Mimoh Chakraborty to Star in 2026 Horror Film Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past

The upcoming Bollywood horror film Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past has been scheduled for release in 2026, featuring a storyline that begins in Mumbai before moving to a mysterious hill station. Associated with Vikram Bhatt, the movie stars Mimoh Chakraborty in the lead role of a devastated filmmaker who encounters supernatural forces after fleeing the city.

In the film, Chakraborty portrays Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, a reputed director whose latest project, Laila Majnu, is on the verge of theatrical release. Dev is in love with the film's lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna. However, his life is upended just days before the release when he discovers her relationship with the film's male lead.

Following this revelation, a heartbroken Dev abruptly departs Mumbai without informing anyone. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu, portrayed by Gaurav Bajpai. The duo travels extensively until they arrive at a peaceful hill station named Maniktal. Seeking solace, Dev decides to rent a local property.

A local broker introduces Dev to the Maniktal Palace. Attracted to the property, Dev decides to become a tenant. However, upon moving in, Dev and Titu immediately sense that something is unusual about the palace.

The layout of the building presents an immediate mystery. While all the doors and windows of the left wing are wide open, those of the right wing remain completely shut. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, informs the new tenants that the right wing has remained locked for decades because the keys are missing.

The mystery deepens on their first night at the palace. Dev is awakened by an eerie noise and discovers that the locked doors of the right wing have opened. Upon entering the forbidden section, he encounters an evil spirit and a woman named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Dev witnesses the spirit harming Sunheri and faces the mystery of how she is living in a section of the palace that has been sealed for over a century, eventually realizing she belongs to a different era.
