Mimoh Chakraborty to Star in Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past

The upcoming Bollywood horror film Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, associated with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, is scheduled for release in 2026. The film features a supernatural narrative that begins in Mumbai before shifting to a mysterious, remote hill station.

The story follows Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, played by Mimoh Chakraborty. Dev is a reputed filmmaker residing in Mumbai who is preparing for the release of his upcoming movie, Laila Majnu. He is deeply in love with the film's lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna.

However, days before the scheduled release of Laila Majnu, Dev's life is upended when he catches Sonali with the film's male lead actor. Devastated by the betrayal, Dev decides to flee Mumbai without informing anyone. He is accompanied on his journey by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai.

The duo travels until they reach a quiet hill station named Maniktal. Seeking peace and solace, Dev decides to settle there and begins looking for a place to rent. A local broker shows him photographs of a property known as the Maniktal Palace. Attracted to the estate, Dev agrees to become a tenant.

Upon moving into the palace, Dev and Titu immediately notice that something is wrong with the property. The building is divided into wings; all the doors and windows of the right wing are completely shut, whereas the left wing remains wide open. The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, informs the new tenants that the right wing has remained locked for decades because the keys to that section have been lost.

The mystery deepens on their first night at the palace. Dev is awakened by an eerie noise and discovers that the doors to the locked right wing have opened. Upon entering the forbidden section, Dev encounters an evil spirit and a woman named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande.

Dev witnesses the spirit harming Sunheri and becomes confused by her presence in a wing that has been locked for over a century, eventually realizing she belongs to a completely different era. The promotional details and cast updates for the movie were last updated on June 13, 2026.
