Motorist detained after dragging petrol pump worker on car bonnet in Borivali East

A motorist was taken into police custody after he allegedly hit a petrol pump supervisor with his car, dragged him on the bonnet, and rammed into multiple vehicles in Borivali East, Mumbai, late Sunday.
The confrontation occurred at a petrol pump in the suburban locality. According to the Kasturba Marg police, the motorist arrived at the fuel station and engaged in a heated altercation with the pump's supervisor. The dispute was reportedly over the supervisor's decision to fire the motorist's brother from his job at the petrol pump last month.
As the argument escalated, the motorist allegedly attempted to run over the supervisor using his personal car. To avoid being run over, the supervisor grabbed onto the bonnet of the vehicle. The motorist continued to drive, dragging the supervisor on the car bonnet for a short distance.
During the course of the incident, the motorist also crashed his vehicle into other vehicles that were parked at the petrol pump, causing damage.
Following the commotion, the Kasturba Marg police were alerted to the situation. Officers arrived at the fuel station, intervened, and took the motorist into custody.
Police officials confirmed they are currently in the process of registering a First Information Report (FIR) against the motorist.
The detained motorist, who works at an automobile showroom, was sent for a medical examination. Police officials stated that the medical test is being conducted to determine whether the suspect was inebriated during the confrontation and subsequent driving. The vehicle involved in the incident belongs to the accused motorist.
