Narayanguda Police Await Autopsy Reports After Two Sisters Die in Hyderabad
The Hyderabad police are awaiting forensic autopsy reports following the tragic deaths of two young sisters who fell ill after consuming food, including mangoes, in the Narayanguda locality of Hyderabad. The victims, identified as Bhuvaneshwari and her younger sibling Sandhya, passed away early this week after being admitted to a local hospital.
According to police officials, the two sisters were residents of Narayanguda. The incident began on Sunday when the girls reportedly picked up a few mangoes that they found near their house and consumed them. In addition to the mangoes, the sisters had also consumed other food that day.
Later on Sunday evening, both girls fell severely ill. They began vomiting and suffered from acute stomach problems. Recognizing the severity of their condition, their parents immediately rushed them to a local hospital to receive emergency medical treatment.
Despite receiving medical attention at the local hospital, Bhuvaneshwari passed away on Monday. Her younger sister, Sandhya, died the following day, on Tuesday, while still undergoing treatment.
Following the deaths, the Narayanguda police registered a case and initiated a detailed investigation into the tragic incident. Investigators are currently looking into all possible causes of the illness and the subsequent deaths of the two siblings.
A senior official of the Hyderabad police confirmed that they are awaiting the official autopsy reports from forensic experts. The official stated that they expect to receive the preliminary forensic report in a day or two, which will help clarify how the sisters died.
In addition to the mangoes consumed near their home, the police have also discovered that the girls had eaten food outside somewhere. To establish a clearer picture of what transpired and determine the source of the suspected food poisoning, investigators are actively gathering more details and information from the victims' family members and friends.
