A 30-year-old man from Nepal suffered a severe eye injury after being struck with a liquor bottle during a drunken altercation near a wine shop in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The violent clash took place on Thursday night near Metro Pillar No. 795, leaving the victim hospitalized.

According to the police, the altercation broke out between two friends, both reportedly from Nepal, who were under the influence of alcohol near the local wine shop. The duo allegedly began attacking each other during the sudden scuffle.

During the physical fight, one of the men used a liquor bottle as a weapon. The victim, identified as Rabbi, was struck directly in the face, resulting in a severe injury to his eye.

Upon witnessing the violent clash and seeing Rabbi injured, local residents in the Kukatpally area immediately intervened. The residents informed the local police and contacted the ambulance services to secure medical help.

First responders arrived at the scene near the metro pillar to provide emergency medical attention to the injured man. Rabbi was subsequently shifted to Gandhi Hospital for further medical treatment.

The Kukatpally police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident to establish the exact sequence of events that led to the violent altercation between the two friends.
