The sports action drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, experienced a weekday drop in its box office collections on its seventh day of release in India. The film earned Rs 7.55 crore net across the country on its seventh day, marking a 22.2 percent decline from the previous day's collection.

Despite the weekday drop, the film's total India net collection has reached Rs 187.25 crore. The movie, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, was officially released in theatres on June 4, following a series of paid premiere screenings on June 3.

The drop on the seventh day followed a stronger performance on Tuesday, when the film collected Rs 9.70 crore net. The Rs 7.55 crore collected on the seventh day was accumulated across a total of 7,535 shows nationwide. With these figures, the film's total domestic gross collection now stands at Rs 222.53 crore.

On the international front, Peddi earned Rs 0.80 crore on its seventh day. This addition brings the film's total overseas gross collection to Rs 48.80 crore. Combining the domestic and international performances, the worldwide gross collection for Peddi has reached Rs 271.33 crore.

The film originally arrived in theatres amid high expectations and opened to mixed reviews. While it managed to perform well during its opening weekend, its box office collections began showing signs of slowing down as it transitioned into the weekdays. The coming days are expected to be crucial in determining whether the film can regain its momentum during its second weekend in theatres.

Peddi is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The project is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, and co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment. The film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.

In addition to the lead pair of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, Peddi features a supporting cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in important roles.
