Telangana BIE Declares 2026 Inter Supplementary Results as 49 Percent Pass

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) declared the results of the 2026 intermediate public advanced supplementary examinations in Hyderabad on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The results showed a pass percentage of 49.29 percent for second-year students and 68.84 percent for first-year students, with female candidates outperforming male candidates in both categories.
According to the board, a total of 1,31,128 students from both general and vocational streams appeared for the second-year examinations. Out of these, 64,639 students successfully cleared the exams.
Girls secured a higher pass percentage than boys in the second-year exams. Out of the 47,395 girls who appeared, 52.56 percent passed, whereas 47.45 percent of the 83,733 boys who sat for the exams cleared them.
For the first-year intermediate supplementary examinations, a total of 2,67,331 students took the tests, achieving an overall pass rate of 68.84 percent.
Girls also dominated the first-year results, with 1,23,974 female students appearing and recording a pass percentage of 76.10 percent. In comparison, 1,43,357 boys took the first-year exams, registering a pass percentage of 62.57 percent.
Students who wish to apply for recounting or re-verification-cum-scanned copies of their valued answer scripts can do so between June 12 and June 18. The application fee is Rs. 100 per paper for recounting and Rs. 800 per paper for re-verification. Payments must be made online through the board's official website.
The board announced that students can download and print a color copy of their online memorandum of marks starting from 5 p.m. on Thursday. The TG BIE clarified that physical copies of the marks memorandum will not be distributed separately, advising students to keep the downloaded copies until physical pass certificates are supplied by the board.
