Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur to Star in 2026 Film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai

Details have emerged in Mumbai regarding the upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film *Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai*, which is scheduled for release in 2026. Directed by David Dhawan, the movie features a starring cast of Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde.

The storyline of the film centers on Jaswinder, also known as Jass, played by Varun Dhawan. Jass works as a professional wedding photographer. While working at a wedding for the sister of Bani, played by Mrunal Thakur, Jass falls in love with her. Bani is charmed by Jass, and the two decide to get married.

The marriage runs into significant trouble five years later. Bani asks Jass for a divorce because he wants to have a child, while she remains completely against the idea. Their case goes before a judge, played by Ali Asgar, who decides to annul the marriage after a period of six months. The judge issues this ruling in the hope that the couple will eventually reconcile. However, Bani remains clear that she wants a permanent separation from Jass.

Following the heartbreak of the separation, Jass decides to shift his life to London. While living in London, he meets Preet, played by Pooja Hegde. The two begin dating, and their relationship progresses well.

The situation takes a dramatic turn when Bani unexpectedly ends up at Jass's place in London. She announces to him that she is pregnant with his child. On that very same day, Preet also informs Jass that she is expecting a child. The rest of the film follows the complications that arise from Jass having two pregnant partners.
