Vikram Bhatt Film Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past Scheduled For 2026 Release

The Bollywood horror film 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past', directed by Vikram Bhatt, is scheduled for release in 2026. The upcoming movie features a cast led by Mimoh Chakraborty, alongside Aradhna, Gaurav Bajpai, Hemant Pandey, and Chetna Pande. The film's narrative begins in Mumbai before transitioning to a mysterious hill station.

According to the official synopsis, the story follows Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev (played by Mimoh Chakraborty), a reputed filmmaker whose latest film, 'Laila Majnu', is on the verge of release. Dev is in love with the film's lead actress, Sonali (played by Aradhna). However, days before the movie's release, Dev catches Sonali with the film's male lead.

Devastated by the discovery, Dev decides to leave Mumbai without informing anyone. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu (played by Gaurav Bajpai). The two travel until they reach a hill station named Maniktal, where Dev seeks peace and solace.

In Maniktal, Dev decides to rent a property and is shown pictures of the Maniktal Palace by a local broker. He decides to rent the palace, but upon entering the property with Titu, they immediately notice something unusual. While all the doors and windows of the palace's left wing are wide open, those of the right wing are completely shut. Trilok (played by Hemant Pandey), the caretaker of the palace, claims that the right wing has been locked for decades and that the keys to the section are missing.

The plot intensifies on their first night at the palace when Dev is awakened by an eerie noise. Upon investigating, he discovers that the doors to the closed right wing have opened. Inside, Dev encounters an evil spirit and a girl named Sunheri (played by Chetna Pande). Dev witnesses the spirit harming Sunheri and is left confused as to how she is living in a section of the palace that has been closed for more than a century. He soon realizes that Sunheri belongs to a completely different era.

The film is set to bring this supernatural mystery to theaters in 2026.
