Vikram Bhatt Film Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past Set For 2026 Release

The upcoming horror film 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past' is officially scheduled for release in 2026, marking a new addition to the supernatural genre. Directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced alongside Anand Pandit, the project features Mimoh Chakraborty and Chetna Pande in the lead roles. The film's narrative begins in Mumbai, where the main character's sudden departure from the city sets the supernatural events in motion.
In the film, Mimoh Chakraborty portrays Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, a reputed Mumbai-based filmmaker whose latest movie, 'Laila Majnu', is on the verge of release. Dev is deeply in love with the film’s lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna. However, days before the highly anticipated release, Dev catches Sonali with the film's male lead, shattering his personal and professional life.
Devastated by the betrayal, Dev decides to leave Mumbai entirely without informing anyone of his whereabouts. He travels alongside his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai. Their journey eventually leads them to a peaceful hill station called Maniktal, where Dev hopes to find solace and decides to look for a place to rent.
A local broker shows Dev images of a grand property known as the Maniktal Palace. Dev likes the estate and decides to become a tenant. However, as soon as Dev and Titu step inside the palace, they realize that something is deeply amiss with the property. All the windows and doors of the right wing are tightly shut, while the left wing remains wide open.
The palace caretaker, Trilok, played by Hemant Pandey, claims that the right wing has been locked for decades and that the keys to the section have been missing for just as long. Despite the warning, Dev wakes up on his first night to an eerie noise and discovers that the doors to the shut right wing are wide open.
Dev enters the forbidden section and encounters an evil spirit torturing a girl named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande. Confused by how she is living in a section shut for over a century, Dev soon realizes that Sunheri belongs to a completely different era.
The promotional rollout for the 2026 release has begun, with the filmmakers sharing the official screamer video, promotional images, and music previews featuring the cast and crew.
